The ISU has indicated that a decision on the ban will be made at the June or October ISU Council meetings, so it is critical that we begin speaking out now to let the ISU Council members, ISU Athletes Commission representatives and the ISU Member Federations know that the ban must remain as long as the war in Ukraine continues.
We also encourage you to reach out to your own governments and ask them to deny visas and other necessary travel documents for skating competitions organized by your national federations to anyone representing Russia or Belarus. Another key group we hope you contact are the ISU's global broadcasting and marketing partners - let them know you won't be watching and you won't buy their products if there are credentialed Russian or Belarusian athletes, officials or support personnel at these competitions.
